Alice in Wonderland was one of my favourite books as a young girl and I remember being very bemused and intrigued by it. I painted this piece about a year after the death of both my elderly parents so on a subconscious level, I think the painting represented my entry into a different, unknown world where the characters were the same but were presented in a totally foreign context and all that had been familiar to me was tossed away.
Each print is reproduced using genuine Epson archival inks on professional grade poly-cotton archival acid free and OBA free canvas.
