Commissioning an Artwork
Trisha welcomes approaches for commissions from individuals and corporations and understands the importance of developing ideas in order to create a personal piece of art. To this end, discussions are held which cover the type of artwork you’d like, the dimensions, any colour preferences you may have, the time frame required, and of course your budget. Whether it be for a wedding or engagement present, birthday or anniversary, a farewell or retirement or any other special occasion, Trisha can create a memorable and individual gift to suit your particular needs. Please note that Gift Cards are also available.
The price of a commissioned artwork is consistent with the prices of her original artworks detailed within this website. Price is also determined by detail and size as is the time frame required. A 50% deposit is required with the balance payable upon satisfactory completion. Images of the work in progress are shared along the way in order to ensure the original instructions are being adhered to.
In June 2021 Trisha was commissioned by Paul McIvor, owner of Goldtower Central based in Charters Towers, to create a series of seven paintings documenting that town's Gold Rush. These paintings were used as the base for a mosaic mural 80m long and 7m high. I spent 12 months on the project: three months researching the history and nine months painting. The end result is truly spectacular and was a finalist in the 2024 Australian Street Art Awards. Read more about this visionary project on Goldtower's website.
The following slideshow includes photos of the Wall of HIstory paintings as well as some of her commissions and gives you an idea of what is possible. If you would like to learn more, please email the artist to find out more about commissioning your own Trisha Lambi original.
